Our Story
Originally from the south of England, Harry is from the busy English city of Portsmouth. With a master painter as a father, Harry was born into the decorating trade. Learning all that he could, for 6 years Harry was picking up skills and learning traditional and modern techniques in wallpaper hanging and painting.
In 2014 Harry travelled and came to New Zealand for a working holiday visa. He fell in love with the country and people, and is still here 11 years later! After many work visas and sponsorship visas for various painting company's around the country, both North and South Island, Harry learned about New Zealand painting products and picked up spray painting. He perfected skills in roof painting, door painting, spray painting new builds and fine finishing.
Adapting to the New Zealand ways of painting, while still incorporating traditional English techniques, he can produce some truly quality results. Finally after obtaining residency in this beautiful country in 2023, Harry Started his own company: Harry Stamp Painting & Decorating.
After 17 years, Harrys thirst for learning new skills has left him as a high quality tradesman in the painting and decorating world.
